movies:
- Singin’ in the Rain is my new favourite movie.
- Weird: the Al Yankovic story had me laughing to tears several times. Same for 9 to 5, with an extra crush on baby Jane Fonda.
- Marinette is an excellent biopic.
- Nimona, Glass Onion, Barbie, Birds of Prey, The Elementals and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songs and Snakes were very fun while watching and will not stay in my mind forever.
- Fahrenheit 451 and Oppenheimer were veeeery long and totally worth it.
- The Quiet Girl and Polisse broke my heart in the best possible way.
- On the documentary front, the La Bataille du Chili trilogy was excellent.
- Also enjoyed: Lady Bird, the Super Mario Bros. movie
music: honestly not enough.
tv shows: a couple of rewatches, with the best discovery of the year being Severance.
books: hoooo boy. let’s make a dedicated post or two for that one.
