I loved Elvis when I saw it in theaters − not because I like the guy, just because I love, love, love Baz Luhrmann’s style.
I have not watched nearly enough Sofia Coppola, and Priscilla felt like a first. It was so soft, so subdued, and yet so gripping and dark. What an excellent movie this was, as quiet as it is.
