From March 31st to April 30th 2024, I had an Interrail ticket and traveled through Europe.
The trip included 4 836km of railways, which was around 2 days and 19 hours spent on trains over the span of one month. It took me through seven countries. During that time, I walked 403 036 steps − that’s slightly less than 270 kilometers and an average of 13 434 steps per day. Phew!
In order, that means:
- Grenoble to Torino on March 31 afternoon
- Turin, Italy
- Bologna, Italy
- Venice, Italy
- Trieste, Italy
- Ljubljana, Slovenia
- Lakes Bohinj & Bled, Slovenia
- Zagreb, Croatia
- Budapest, Hungary
- Berlin, Germany
- Munich, Germany
- Salzburg, Austria
- Verona, Italy
- Rome, Italy
- Milan, Italy – no post as I was meeting up with my partner and didn’t want to spend my days taking notes 🙂
- And back home!
